Gratitude
Ok, this is really, really late, but back in March I was tagged by Isabella at Change Therapy to do a gratitude post. With all the craziness over the past month trying to sell our house, it fell through the cracks. Anyway, without further ado, I am grateful for/to:
…you, the readers (108,000 of you, as of this writing!), for making this blog succeed beyond my wildest expectations. I am grateful to each and every one of you, and I hope that this site has helped you with your suffering, even if it was only a little bit.
…our friend Susan, for successfully selling our house. (Woohoo!) Susan is awesome, and if you are in Toronto and want to buy or sell a house, I definitely recommend her.
…Wendy Piersall, whose support, advice, and patience have been so incredible for the past three months.
…my wife Carla for her patience and support, also for the past three months.
…all the other bloggers, too many to list here, (but listed in my blogroll on my front page) who have been so helpful and supportive
…Jennifer Jones, whose blog, Goodness Graciousness, is an oasis of wonder, hope and inspiration. It is the best blog I know, and I go there every day.
…Val and Marilyn, for helping me through the darkness.
…my parents and family, for paying the bills while I got this site off the ground.
…Julia Cameron, author of The Vein of Gold, for showing the path.
…my buddy Dave, for always being ready with “a beer and an ear.”
…mental health bloggers, for their bravery, compassion and love. Watch out world, We’re coming!
…my friend Jill, who came up with “Finding Your Marbles.”
…the City of Toronto, for having such beautiful parks, which were obviously put there for me to write in.
…the people who have written to me to share their stories. Your bravery truly humbles me, and I am honored by your trust.
…having a beach to walk, write and sit on.
…living in Canada.
…all the people who have donated to this site. Every bit helps.
…Jane Chin, for being the first person to link to one of my articles.
…Americans, since you make up 75% of my readers, and also for being such darn friendly people.
…and last but not least, thanks to my Grade 9 English teacher, Mr. McLaughlin, for showing me that I was a writer, after all.
I’m tagging 4 more bloggers with the gratitude post (no griping if you’ve already been tagged): Wendy at Emoms@Home, Jen at Goodness Graciousness, Dave at Wandering the Ether, and Alex at Alex Shalman.com.

Hi Scott…
I love the opportunity to reflect on all for which I am grateful! I just don’t think we can remind ourselves enough of all that we have!
Thanks for the tag!

Oh — I love the “no griping” part. YES! My kind of person. I need to hook my mom up to you — or this blog — or something. Really.
